FIBCs

During the last ten years flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs, Big-Bags) ousted other kinds of package for bulk transportation and storage. At present, FIBCs are generally recognized as a universal bulk packaging since they can be easily adapted to any handling machinery, filling and discharge stations.
Flexible containers are the most cost effective packing for large-tonnage bulk handling, and are successfully used in logistic schemes for transportation, warehousing and storage of free-flowing materials in chemical, agricultural, food, and other industries.
Advantages of FIBCs are obvious:
  flexible design;
  minimum weight of packing at carrying capacity up to 2000 kg;
  low losses of product at all stages of handling;
  convenient handling;
  cost efficiency;
  environmental safety.
  FIBCs can be
  used for various powder-like and granular materials including foodstuff;
  reused and even remade;
  used for outdoor storing;
  delivered by any type of transport.
The body of flexible containers is made of polypropylene or kapron UV stabilized fabrics with high safety factor for wide temperature range. Containers can be completed with outer polyethylene cover and different polyethylene liners that protect the load from moisture and provide environmental safety during handling, container bagtransportation and storage.
FIBCs differ in:
  volume (300 to 1500 l);
  carrying capacity (400 to 2000 kg);
  number of loops (one, two or four);
  design (open top, filling spout, plane bottom, discharge spout, etc.);
  density and number of layers of body fabric;
